DFW Mango Meetup August 2017

We did not manage to get an event in during June like I had hoped and we do not have all that much time left before MangoCon in NY, we it would be great if we could get another meetup here in the DFW before the big conference happens. Can we pitch some dates and see what works?

Only have 2 Tuesdays and 2 Thursdays to choose from. Unless you want to do a weekend thing. If so, I could bring my kids with me.

We could do one after MangoCon, and you could talk about highlights from the conference.

I'd like to drive up to one of the meet ups if it happens on a weekend, but I prob won't have a free weekend until the September meet up.

A weekend might be a good idea, given that we did during the week last time.

What is the point of this Scott? You have no realistic ability to settle a date, organize, and promote prior to MangoCon for something in July.
100% of anything you should be trying to promote right now is MangoCon.

That's part of the point, to help get the word out.

Even though this would not be us talking technology, it would be fun to get a bunch of us together and go to one of those Escape Room places. I'd be curious to see if we could make it out.

I've always wanted to do one of those. I have a friend in New Delhi that does that all of the time.

There are a ton of places in the area. Lots of times there are Groupons for them. I've only done it once, and it was really fun.

Looking at the schedule for my wife's sorority reunion in NY, I think that Jared is right and we can't do this in July. Let's start getting a scheduled event together for August, though.
