If I upgrade from Fedora 29 to 30 and didn't have LibreOffice installed, it doesn't randomly come back and pop up all kinds of shit harassing me to use it every time I login.

Nor does it install new things, without being given permission, after the fact. Windows will just keep adding things that I removed, or adds different things to replace ones I removed.

This isn't fair to say Windows does this - as Windows doesn't, at least not in the case of Teams. The fact that Office from O365 is install is what is doing that...

      OneDrve - OK, that's Windows.

Good point, It keeps being added in Windows, it isn't Windows doing the adding.

I've worked on a project with a company that uses Skype for Business. They always complain about it, but my biggest complaint is sometimes it takes a whole minute before it unmutes my mic.

Sometimes it's just enough of a delay to be annoying, but 1 minute can be detrimental.

To me that sounds like you have a s***** microphone if you take it up to a minute. I do not have that issue at all with any of my users and I have $170 people using it

I click the unmute button in the app and it freezes. Happens on both my home computer and my work computer.

They have over 1000 users, but I have no idea on their setup, so maybe their complaints are mostly caused by their own setup, idk.

All software can give weird issues.

Even slack gives me weird issues sometimes. Sometimes it will start using like 3GB of ram for no reason until I restart the app. Then it's fine, staying 500mb or less typically. It's fine, I don't care about plus or minus a hundred MB, but several GB is crazy. I screenshotted before.

                        SfB is obsolescent.

Yes, they have a special audio conferencing license for SFB, and now Teams. It is an add-on license that you assign to specific users. Although, based on your use-case, I can't tell if it would be of any real help. Here is more info on it. As others have said over and over, you should look elsewhere.
