                                        However, human drivers will still steer all the lorries in the convoy.

                                        That seems like a bad idea. Now you have a driver who can't see much because they are up the arse of the truck in front of them.

                                            But it doesn't excuse the criminals they were chasing - just lets them possibly go free since the gov't didn't follow proper procedure.
