Ex-Employee of Facebook Exposes that company may have made similar user data available to tens or hundreds of thousands of companies, just like they did for Cambridge Analytics.

FFS, has anyone read their ToS?

They violated them. They didn't honour the terms that they had agreed to. Like someone else we know .

Really? There were so many weasel worded things in there when I read it, I just assumed that they've always been "sharing" information they collect.

More than just violating ToS, they appear to have just plain old violated the law. ToS doesn't change the legal requirements.
