@Dashrender exactly, there are much better ways to set that kinda thing up - I think we're still looking for a scenario where dude-buddy-guy from SW forums would be right. He may just be 100% wrong.
well, again, my friends suggested reason, lack of personnel resources in times of emergency, could be a reason.
No, it makes investment in spares make sense but still doesn't justify preemptive, it would do the opposite. Having spares is what you do when you don't have available labour, not burning them up and throwing them out.
The compression ration is totally dependent on your specific data types. Some data, like text files and logs, compresses extremely well. Others, like movies and music, will often not compress at all and actually carry a small risk of expansion! The only way to know usefully how compression will affect your specific data set is to test it.

All machines on the domain should point to the domain controller(s) for their time.
Oh right, they did not even rename the installers? Sorry.
The OneDrive for Business executable is still Groove.exe, so is this really a surprise? That though has been changed long enough that the installer is different at least.
The backend says Groove as I said earlier, but how hard can it be to rename the installer?
Classic case of Marketing running down the road screaming about the new names when the tech guys are left behind wondering what to do.
Possible that things depend on the name and could break.
Exactly dashrender. the original OS that came with it was Windows 8.1. Single Language. I upgraded to Pro pack for the domain and have that key but it won't accept it as need the original OS first.
The idea that causing a system to fail would be routine maintenance is just.... I have no idea. Imagine crashing a car, just a little, to cause the airbags to deploy so that you get fresh ones installed once every 50,000 miles. That just doesn't make sense.
Kinda hard to pay your personal bills if you're not taking profits out of the company to pay them, or am I missing something? Assume single person income.
Pay the bills with unemployment. Pay for work stuff with the "profits."
A mortgage that is higher than the unemployment doesn't work that way... lol Time for downsizing.. lol
I really liked RS web access. Not for everyone, of course, but my favourite web interface of all the major email platforms. I miss how fast, reliable and responsive it was.
Which is my thinking too... unfortunately we have to keep this carrier and this number (business reasons). I was thinking a different number and then forward this number to this device.
For testing to prove the issue, this should be simple. Just get a second phone and forward the number as you say. Also make calls on the original phone to capture whatever Verizon wants.
