@scottalanmiller why install a proxy when Apaches here and working what is the benefit to having a proxy on the same server. Let’s Encrypt perfectly with Apache
Security and flexibility typically. Here is the admitted marketing material from Nginx on security: "Security and anonymity – By intercepting requests headed for your backend servers, a reverse proxy server protects their identities and acts as an additional defense against security attacks. It also ensures that multiple servers can be accessed from a single record locator or URL regardless of the structure of your local area network."
Creating them as a resource seems like it will be the better move going forward. Public Folder support in o365 has been sketchy at best. Even with resources, you may have to drill in using powershell to change some of the options, but it works.
Maybe they knew you were from mangolassi so they assumed you'd be off topic 🙂

That's the typical gripe I see from the threads I've read. People spend more time complaining about the syntax and structure of a question, rather than (often) applying some common sense to understand what's being asked.
Yep... basically this.
Yeah.... the value of a site like Mangolassi.it just keeps growing.
I replaced a Cisco a few weeks ago because we could get a Ubiquiti that was new faster, delivered to the site, than we could get a cable to hook into the Cisco. Saved both time and money and got them better quality gear. Pure win. Cisco's "deal with our BS" overhead is very high and a huge factor on their TCO.
Their optics division makes 2 Billion a year I hear. 3rd party optics are made by the same people so I never blinked at using them and duck taping some spares to the side of the chassis.
