We had something similar recently, with Server 2022 and Bartender server.
The printer had to be installed under the AD Service Account that the Bartender app is installed under, on that app server.

Then the calls to our print server, where the printer is pointed to in the app itself, worked properly. Otherwise, there would be a 3 min timeout before even the labels from the app would print.

So try to install it locally under the account that the SAP app was installed under.

Try to reset the printer, and the web server via the printers web gui if possible also.

Our issue was with the older Xi4's not the newer ZD621.
Our print server is Win Server 2022 Core.

@scottalanmiller oh I don't doubt there's a real person behind the account, but I don't think it has a single time engaged with the community other than to throw around marketing posts. Super duper spammy. I can't stand visiting the site without being logged in, having to navigate around all the spam from that account. If I want to browse StarWind Blog posts, I'll just visit their site.

No, you just need to cover the cores on the host.

@IRJ Yeah I've tried openVAS in the past, it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great.

I've ended up making some changes to my firewall and using Wazuh to report on my endpoints that are remote to our datacenter.

Which works well enough for our needs

I agree, I'd be better off running up a new instance of W11, installing hyper-V and running a Ubuntu VM as well as my W11 workstation so I can switch between the two.

I've played with Proxmox before, It's a good and easy product to use.

Yeah I can definitely imagine that being annoying. If ya can't find or fix the the network or config issue, no choice other than to disable it on all the clients.

@dafyre of course. The aliases are email addresses, as the cronjob output needs to be emailed
to a few/several recipients. The script runs fine. I have zero issues with the script. It is just
the email aliases are not expanding ( /etc/aliases) .I am puzzled as it has worked fine for literally years.

Yes, I tried bridge mode. That hadn't worked. But I found the error at least and the bridge between the host and the VMs works now. I can ping the VMs from the host and vice versa, with IP address and domain name.

However, I can only reach the VMs via their local IP address, not via the domains when using a browser.

I think you should first solve the issue why you can't reach your VMs from outside your LAN (I mean before you setup HAproxy).
I would first test, can I reach them via external IP address. (have you tried this?)
If that is OK, then test access via DynDNS domain.

So we did not have social media for a while. The world didn't end is okay to take a break from seen what other people are doing with their lives.

Annnd- the printer is already working... not that THAT is any issues...

I do not know if this matters maybe you should look into an FTP that caters between Linux and Macs poossibly.

We have all APCs and they work fine in our DC. They work fine for us which include our windows and linux servers.
