Does anyone know if there is a function to directly send WOL packets from this switch?

FROM the switch? Or THROUGH the switch?

From the switch directly. we know how and can pass WOL through the switch.

But we're having issues with our remote office, where occassionally we can't wake up specific computers.

Now obviously, they could be unplugged moved etc, but I'm looking for an alternative test.

I've never heard of a switch being able to do that. Doesn't mean that they can't, but not really something you would expect a switch to be doing. No other computers at that site at all?

Several computers are at the site.

One being an on-site DC, but accessing the DC has proven to be sluggish quite often. And for remote maintenance of these devices, it'd be ideal to just power them on from here, and connect to them individually. Cutting out having to connect to the DC

Why not install a tool that allows you to do the WOL without needing to log into the DC? Why does the DC have a GUI anyway? Take it down to Core to speed it up. Use PowerShell to do the WOL.

We already are using powershell, albeit from the US to an overseas office.

We don't have an IT guy on site for the remote site, it's all Contract Support. I'm uncertain as to why it was fully deployed, rather than a core installation.

"Easier management of the server" was probably the response to the question.
