                As is often the case, Wikipedia does not know everything. Straight from Drobo engineering, they run QNX, not Linux. There is Linux on SOME systems, but it is for only certain components and runs on a secondary controller. The Drobo system is always a proprietary UNIX system.

                      This is Veeam Endpoint Backup and yes they give it away for free.

                              While the B&R Free can be scheduled via scheduled tasks, I'm not sure the Endpoint Backup can be.

                                          I have never needed to, but unless the software itself actually stops you, there is no reason it will not work.

                                            I've learned also that it perform block level backup, can I backup my files in daily basis incrementally to a NAS???
