Wanted to setup Let's Encrypt for my blog which is now hosted on ASO but as per their tech agent, this is not possible! 😞

It if lets you install an SSL certificate I think you can manually do lets encrpyt. They expire often so it would be a PITA thought. Is just buy one.

True! My Lets encrypt expiry date shows as July 17 2016! But since i am using it via Cloudflare, there i could see that the SSL is valid for 182 days more!

If you are using CloudFlare, your backend server can use any valid certificate, including a self signed.

Simply make the cloud orange and then set CloudFare to full SSL. It will require SSL on the backend server, but not validate it.

Your users will only ever see the CloudFlare SSL.

Is that because SSL is not offered at all?

As per them, its only on dedicated servers and not shared. But using https://gethttpsforfree.com/ i was able to generate certs and install 🙂
