So I've had an XS host go down again for the second time in a week. I'm getting good at rebuilding software raids...

That aside, I'm looking for help in finding out what is going wrong. This time when it went down I wasn't able to even login because it wouldn't authenticate root. I rebooted, and the software raid wasn't there. I was able to get it back fairly quickly using this:

      mdadm --assemble /dev/md0/ --uuid=[uuid]

I then performed a repair on the SR in XenCenter and we were back in business. However, it is troubling that this has happened again and I'd like to know what needs fixing. If you all have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Seems more like a Linux issue than a XS issue. I glanced at your other thread, but didn't see any info on your particular setup. You may want to (re)post that info here.

I agree, this sounds like something purely wrong in the CentOS 6 Dom0

It is a default install of 6.5 with no patches. Dom0 is installed on one disk, and md0 is a RAID 10 built using mdadm. Aside from that, it is pretty much all the defaults for the XS install.

What do the logs say about the system going down? I'm guessing that it is going down for whatever reason there is then a RAID issue.
