For purely reasons of personal curiosity I would be all over social engineering.

I have been told I have a trust worthy face (when I shave and look less homeless) and I spent years selling things and perfecting social tools to manipulate people.

      Any other input?

I didn't see a course for that. I am thinking CEH. My boss wants to know so I need to email him and let him know.

I was thinking of getting GIAC GSEC
The ISC track does look interesting here though. Seems quite thorough.

I think I can get a 5 day class and cert. I probably wont be able to do a whole track. I may be moving into a new position soon and my function would be Pen testing and analysis. So I think one of these might be my best bet. CEH probably pertains more to this new position.

What tools are you proficient at that you can use to accomplish your tasks for the new position? Wireshark, Metasploit, Backtrack, etc? If not I would take some courses on how to use these tools as they are pretty much the standard.

He has introductory videos for Nessus, NMAP, Wireshark, etc.... Plus he goes in depth with each of them.
