First Day with the Wii U

The kids got home last night after a month (yes a month) away. Liesl, the five year old, was really excited knowing that there was a surprise waiting for them in the house. She got right into the Wii U and instead of using it to play her old Wii games she jumped right in to @dominica 's Wind Waker HD and, believe it or not, is loving it! She played it all evening last night and got up early this morning and asked to play it again! I can't believe it. This is pretty awesome. So I am happy with the purchase. That game will keep her occupied for a long time.

Do you think that she will really face down the pirate island without her sword.

She tried a little more in Wind Waker today and was able to move forward only a few minutes before some enemies jumped out and she was screaming because she was so scared of them. It is definitely too much for her at this point. Got her some new games this afternoon that are not nearly as scary.

I know, right. She can't handle the enemies coming at her. She panics.
