We are having meeting with a potential client in Canada for a custom B2B web portal and the management there use BB 10 devices.

There is. I believe @JaredBusch said he already tried it and didn't think it was accurate to an actual device.

Oh I'm not trying to say that BB hardware is better than the others, it's probably all made by the same companies. I think people have a sense that it is better hardware though. When compared to the others.
I'm saying the mentality of BB is "our hardware is better, but our OS is shit, lets use Android on our hardware".
Also maintaining your own mobile OS has to be a major pain in the rear. When you could just fork the Android OS, and develop from there.

I see what you are saying, but as of Q3 2016, BB has 0.1% of the smartphone market. So people must not believe their hardware is any better.

I am assuming the only reason you would buy a BB is for integration with BES, but since they are now running android is there any difference between a BB and another android device when it comes to MDM?
