PA-RISC has been off of the market for quite some time now but the Linux kernel continues to release updates for it and the latest Linux LTS release highlights improvements for Linux on PA-RISC. PA-RISC was the RISC platform from HP before they abandoned it thinking that the EPIC Itanium platform would be their future (it was not.) PA-RISC, along with Alpha, remain as the highlights of the CPU wars and are still impressive platforms many years after they have been discontinued.

I still have a working, and very powerful, PA-RISC powered desktop.
