        Saw this earlier today--really cool. I don't know if I'd do it myself, but still really cool.

          It isn't fully autonomous but it is pretty close. Really cool work and glad it is open source!

            I'm surprised he's legally allowed to do this. Aren't there all kinds of laws about this?

              It's really no different then the Tesla Autopilot. It controls steering and speed. As long as he is behind the wheel and not distracted, in most states, then he is probably fine.

                So it still can't do the one thing it needs to do... drive me home drunk. I'll keep waiting, I have no use for an "autonomous" car that I have to pay attention to and babysit.

                      He's in Nebraska, which is currently in the midst of attempting to sign legislation.

                      That's probably why he has to do it at night.

                        Pretty soon you might need to use a breathalyzer to start your robot
