Anyone used Metabase before? Looks interesting.

Never played with it. What are you thinking of using it for?

From the description, I know someone at work that would probably get a lot of use out of it. Business intelligence stuff.

        Probably @MattSpeller too

I couldn't bring myself to click any of the links in that... and WOW. I'm all for whatever floats your boat, but I don't necessarily understand all of it. Glad he came out unharmed. There's a lesson in there somewhere...

66MB download JAR file. Sounds like nothing but it's hard to download here 😞

Ya I've got it running. Looks pretty cool. I don't have any databases with stuff I want to check but they give you a test one. I'll spin it up for him and see what he thinks.

Ha, would be interesting. They have a fancy graph of the US on the front page of the website but I can't find it. I need to play with it some more.

I'm guessing a lot. But it might be a lot of chicken and egg stuff. You might need to know what you're looking for before you start.

Sounds like the ATO has an IPOD: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/03/16/australian_taxation_office_san_outage_and_upgrade/

All their reports keep referring to "the SAN"

Giving up on OpenVPN for now until I can get a PC set-up at home that I can remote onto to play with settings and routing.

Is anyone here a waltz expert? We have a section in one of our new songs that is a classic, well known melody, 3/4 waltz time, but I tried looking up every waltz I know and it's not any of them. I need to find someone who could listen to me hum the melody and tell me what it is, because we want to properly attribute that part to the original author, but I'm stumped. And I think many of you would recognize it. Anyone??? Bueller???

It's been a long time but i might be able to.
