      New, free app helps iOS and Android users keep track of what they are running that is using up their battery life. Very handy tool!

          I've already spoken with someone using this or a similar tool that found some apps doing weird power usage things depending on configuration. Could be really useful as people start to collect data on this stuff.

              I'm surprised iOS doesn't have this built in yet. As Macbooks already do this under the Battery Menu. However on mobile OS people that run those Battery Doctor (and the more popular Advanced Task Killer) type apps end up getting less life out of the battery. Many apps take so little battery running in a suspended state in the background that fully closing them multiple times means the processing to get it going multiple times a day again would use more power..
