Gas here went from $2.19 a gal to $2.39 already...

Yes, but that has nothing to do with the refineries.

We had this after IKE. Like 30 states worth of lineman and electrical workers. IT was some boys from TN who fixed the lines outside my office.

@scottalanmiller, @Dominica, @Texkonc, @NetworkNerd, and I are far enough inland that we won't get any thing more than a scattered shower or thunderstorm from one of the arm bands of Harvey.

Nice to see that I'm forgotten...

You are even farther north than me.

            And me.

              Technically, you are further north.

@storageninja Nice, but its just for Houston. Got anything for Big D?

The Big D can go... Sigh, I'll be nice to Dallas... use local weather 🙂

So far just like but steady rain all day in Waco. Haven't heard of any flooding nearby either.

Not even rain up here. We had a sprinkle this afternoon, but that was it.

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - As Tropical Storm Harvey continues to batter Texas, one Kentucky company announced it will be providing shelter for thousands of people displaced by the storm.

Employees at Emergency Disaster Services in Maysville have spent the past two days packing trailers with clean linens, clean water, food and fuel.

I cannot tell you already how much Texas appreciates this.

KHOU (ABC station in Houston) is already evacuated and flooded because of this storm. WFAA (ABC out of Dallas) has already began supporting the Houston area in weather reports because of this.

Meteorologists are anticipating another 2 feet (yes, FEET) of rain over the course of the next 2-3 days as Harvey has seemed to take a vacation on the Texas coast before he decides to move off. There are no steering winds to push Harvey on. Therefore, he is just sitting there, stalled.

Expect gas prices to go up as the refineries are also along the Texas Gulf coast. because they will use any and every excuse to raise gas prices.
