I had looked that up just recently so knew it had a million person lead on Houston. It was only 100K larger when we first moved here. DFW is growing so quickly that it's only like a decade short from being expected to overtake Chicagoland!

Especially not surprising since people are leaving the Chicago area at a rapid rate: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-chicago-census-population-loss-met-20170322-story.html

That piece was specifically crafted to make Chicago look bad. Illinois as a whole is losing people because it is the shittiest state in the Union.

More that Dallas and Houston just grow like crazy. In general, though, the rust belt cities move people to the sub belt cities.

Buffalo N.Y. is booming in home sales, and is number 1 for the nation.

I know. I live in Southern Illinois and as soon as we can (our youngest graduating high school in 5 years) we are moving. My plan is to stay in the job I have now. It is a good job. Have a few Linux certs by then, then moving to a different part of the country to be a Linux Systems Administrator.

Chicagoan 2: Ok, that was random...
Chicagoan 1: No, I mean I really like snow. I love snow!
Chicagoan 2: Why not move to Buffalo, NY?
Chicagoan 1: I hope they have lots of new houses because my whole family is moving now.

I know that Denver definitely was on that list for a while when I moved out there for a while.

All of the "old Texas" locations are doing great. Buffalo is a great city, but this is really weird.

We saw that. They are doing a better job evacuating the cattle than the people!

Of course, the people knew better, you can't blame the cattle in the same way.

Not for nothing, but the FDA is quite difficult, and it cost billions for new drugs to come to market, including decades of studies.

Without more detail, I don't see what is so bad about it. Besides the FDA getting their panties in a bunch.

I get that, the FDA is crap and a problem. But so are the pharmas. This one feels pretty solidly like the FDA was probably doing the right thing, more or less.
