          And Acer too at $252...

Three choices under $275 all with 4GB RAM and Windows 10 Pro. That works.

@scottalanmiller I would hate to have to use such slow machines.

I'm not a fan of those processors. They just don't work very well under even the most basic work loads.

Well sure, me too, that's why I don't use Windows 🙂

Same box with ChromeOS is nice and fast.

It's only managing Hyper-V, though. I bet you'd never notice.

No, he said he does all of his management from this machine.

Yeah I'm not sure how much hands on management you're needing to do on a day to day basis, but for myself it's incredibly minimal.

Oh, well still, if it is PowerShell and RSAT, that's more than enough power.

Precisely. I'm not sure why people are kicking up such a fuss about this...

The fuss I'm kicking is simply the fact that you have two machines. Nothing more, nothing less.

He claims to have two computers - a Windows based computer from which to mange his Hyper-V host, and a Chromebook he uses for everything else - this seems like a waste - why have two computers when a single Windows machine will do it all?

Oh, I missed the dedicated machine for Windows. Just make that a VM on top of the cluster, problem solved.
