Not sure what you mean, practice is learning...
Download the app on Android/iPhone and try it out. It takes 2 minutes. You can un-install if you don't like it.
LIke does it actually teach language rules, or just drill you on things it expects you to already know from somewhere else.
I haven't explored it enough to know, I've only been listening to the audio. But they do explain rules when needed.

Unless traveling, it is purely forced. I talk to some of the team in Spanish for practice and I watch Spanish programming almost exclusively when not watching with other people (and have some friends that watch Spanish programming with me like @RestoronixSean and @QuixoticJeremy )
