I know that I'm @JaredBusch level harping on this.. but it's Symantec.. they are so horrible they even messed up Verisign's CA business. I just can't trust that company at all! Plus their AV and backup products have sucked forever.
And their AV last year had such a bad kernel module that you could be infected just from receiving an email without opening it.

Sadly - MS also had a flaw like this with Defender - though it wasn't an email bomb, it was just packets.

Upgraded my laptop to Fedora 27, even though I am on the road. Crazy me..
Worked perfectly.
Also, @bigbear the weird SELinux error on shutdown is gone.

I'm actually getting close to passing my total activity on SW, in well under half the time. Been on SW since early 2009, been on ML only since 2014.

It's a medical waste monitoring and management SaaS application. We have a new version (major release) going into "prod testing" tonight. That's when it moves into the production servers, but before it is released to the public.
