I was looking at the Yealink line (always a good choice) but I am needing to cover a larger area. I can get multi base registration and extenders to cover the job, but that is messy.

I came across a refernce to this Uniden model that does seemless meshing.

      Has anyone ever deployed it?

      Base: EXP1240B https://www.uniden.com/shop/communication/business-telephones/sip-dect-base/
      Handset: EXP1240H https://www.uniden.com/shop/communication/sip-dect-hand-set/

Never tried it, by I also had issues finding a long range solution. Diamond Durafon is the best I found so far. The coverage is excellent, since the device transmits with such a high mV. But the price is pretty high.

@fuznutz04 multiple base stations plus extenders should cover a huge space.

The only reason I am looking at this solution is for the seamless handoff that it is reported to have.

@jaredbusch I just edited my post. My phone autocorrected Durafon to Diamond. Durafon is what I was referring to.

I did the repeaters with Yealink as well. They work well, I agree. However, I also do not have a good experience with roaming/handoff. I'll keep an eye on this thread and do some research. It's pretty cool that another company now offers SIP DECT phones.

Yealinks do not have seamless handoff. That is not a feature. So if you were expecting it, that would be a problem. But it is not an advertised feature.

I've used Yealink and Polycom but not with multi-station hand off, so not sure who does that well.

This is the thread that pointed me to the Uniden equipment.
