LOL, no, that would be more reliable. I've hosted from my basement and did SO much better over SDSL with a single line than

moved to AWS But did they put in redundancy? AWS is not redundant if you don't know what you are doing (and they don't.)
I don't have all the details but they have multiple parts of the systems in different nodes. They also use Incapsula for CDN and DDOS.
