No idea but it would be really cool for someone with a legacy data package from Verizon or one of the other carriers. And battery? You can easily get a 10,000 mAh pack for 30-40$

just for this.True. There are month-to-month services that still offer unlimited data and tethering for a flat rate that is pretty cheap. A lot of times you'll only get 3G, but it'd work.

We'll get Scott wired up like and looking like Frankenstein! He'll have a headband with a GoPro strapped on. Then he'll have a second smartphone turned into a wifi hotspot hooked up to a battery pack. He might even have spare battery packs.

Had to remove them. They get reflected in "reputation" and it was causing a problem. Until reputation can be disassociated from people, we can't have votes on posts or threads.
