In Office 365, I have a Public folder that has to be managed as it gets a large number of emails. We want to retain one years worth of content. But at the moment:

      Path: \System Aliases\reports
      Total items: 55837
      Modified: 5/30/2017 6:12 AM
      Size ‎(MB)‎: 51200

It would appear you can set a policy for it,... however I did that and it reverted bact to Parent Policy.

Is there a simple way, using PS to purge anything older than one year? My Google'ing reports it's not a simple task, or not possible.

sadly - setting this didn't work as the 'mailbox' doesn't exist...

            Curse you MS
