        Upgrade to CentOS 8

I want to know what they will be doing about existing installs.

RedHat is providing no upgrade path for CentOS 7 to CentOS 8.

Yeah, me too. I've been wondering this.

I've looked around and there are a few upgrade scripts, which of course are unsanctioned and completely unsupported. It's a huge shame that there is no official process.

Will this be like an upgrade on Windows should be? new install, migrate data over, change DNS as needed, etc?

Scary, but just this might work.

LTS releases, this is such a common problem that Fedora avoids.

Was it always easy to upgrade Fedora before the move to dnf?

Not as easy, but it wasn't a big deal. The upgrades were always pretty incremental.

We have several in production and are really liking it. Good pace of development, great interface. Seems to have a good future. Certainly still behind FreePBX, but catching up quickly. If they get pjsip to be their primary soon, they will really be in good shape.

@StuartJordan NTG and CCWTech both run on VitalPBX primarily.
