"Hey guys lets make sure when we are making user accounts that we are following the documentation. I've noticed small details falling through the cracks in new accounts. Every step is covered in document."
Ya know. If we used a SCRIPT this wouldn't be an issue. But since no one will listen... ..|..

Why not just write said script, and the next time there's a complain present it as a solution.

That's what I do. And then if they tell me not to share it, I just keep using it for myself.

It's not a stick up their ass,... it's a full red wood tree... But yea.. But I should not have to circumvent policies and security...

Some scripts I've done are just too useful to not share, and my boss has given me blessings to share, such as the VMware Snapshot Cleanup script I did a while back. It saves so much time. (Script is [HERE]).
