I just watched a webinar sponsored by SmartDeploy about a new product they will be deploying later this year. This will compliment their core capabilities and will bring a cloud piece that will allow patch management, assist with application deployment, and several other capabilities. All I can tell you is that it sounds pretty useful if you are a SmartDeploy customer.

@NetworkNerd Their GG got to you (& a NDA?)? She's been trying to rope me in, however our deployment resource guy bailed. Replacement person isn't up to the same technical chops, and I don't have the bandwidth to tackle the prospect.

@RoguePacket Nick (@networknerd) has praised them very highly and I believe it's Heidi who I've done some video conferences for another community with. She's nice and as I said, Nick has raved about how good they are. I can think of a couple places I'd be curious to try them out.

@RoguePacket But as far as not having the time/manpower, oh boy do I understand that...

We had them on a list to try out for a project but resources changed on us too and ended up not trailing them. Looked really good though.

.... and now seeing a buried SW email from SmartDeploy about a 03/04 seminar for their "new beta project 'Serenity'". GG Spencer(sp?) was the sender.

Guessing it is a cloudy version of their product with some InTune-ish features. Not like InTune seems to be getting traction.
