We use "the library" as a tongue in cheek reference to the toilet. Is "Cave of Undead PCs" by extension a reference to the same thing? If so.... why?

lol, nope. I have an actual library on campus. Some of the PC's are fairly crap though as they are nearing the end of their 4 year warranty but there are a few tops ones..

4 years old and you're calling them crap? What's wrong with them? I suppose if they were bottom of the barrel 4 years ago.. maybe, but if they were and i3 or i5 they should be totally fine for surfing the web today.

My desktop is closing in on EIGHT years old, and it is fine for most things.

Yes, that is true. They are indeed good for surfing the web still. However they have 5400 rpm drives in them. So loading office and any other programs on them take a while.

We usually put the replaced ones out for tender so the general public can buy them. We're nice like that
