What are you attempting to boot to? Do you have a firmware update CD in the drive or something similar?

@scottalanmiller The Server is showing the BLue Amber Light while booting. So when I googled for the issue I saw the option as Firmware update to be done for the server and after that the BLue amber will not glow.I have troubleshooted the server from basic level and it is booting properly but blue amber(UUID) light glows in the seerver.

Is the light blue or amber? What's it have to do with the UUID? And why do you want an update to turn system lights off?

Why do you need to upgrade the firmware? It doesn't seem like this is really a firmware issue.

@Lakshmana I have downloaded the firmware from the above link and installed and then the server was rebooted. But When I tried to assign IP at BIOS means it is not done ie)The DHCP is disabled and then the IP is being assigned but the IP is not shown but the initial step is shown as 000.000.000.000.Why?the blue light is same it was glowing in the LED

That's for the ILO. You don't need to set that. It's good to set up the ILO, of course, but it is not needed. And the ILO on the DL1xx G5 is pretty much worthless if I remember correctly.

If I remember right the DL160 is pretty much useless as a normal server. I've seen cheap people use them as that but they are really meant to be used in a high density web farm.

You are thinking of the right one. It's slightly better than the DL140, but only in that it has SCSI instead of ATA drives. It's not meant to be a standard server at all. Lacks all the server hardware and is no more reliable than a nice desktop. Lacks full IPMI and other tooling.
