Waiting on the family to arrive in Tokyo and call me. 3 hours until arrival, probably 2-3 after that before they are home between immigration, baggage claim, and the drive from Haneda to Okegawa (Saitama prefecture).

I would really love to go to Japan some day. I have a friend who is going to be stationed there by the end of the year, should be there for three years... may have to go visit him.

We are thinking about doing a quick visit via a cruise in 2017 heading out from Hawaii. Would be very cool.

No, this was regarding a DSL circuit. Because of the way they abbreviated the client's name in their system, it took us 15 minutes to find them...

So far I have been able to send them every year since they have been in school.
The girls are enrolled in school while they are there since the Japanese school year does not go on summer break until the middle of July.
Usually get 4-6 weeks in school there.

I am obviously heavily biased, but I love the country.
If you have the opportunity to go, do so.
