I have a client with an on site SBS server for which I am attempting to get all the components updated.

Windows Updates are complete and Exchange was patch to SP3 a year or so ago.

The problem I am having is a failure to apply Rollup Update 17. I checked the Exchange version, and it sure looks like it is raw SP3.

      img

So I thought I would download Rollup Update 1 but it appears to be saying it is 14?

      img

Looking at installed updates, this would explain it. Up until 14, seems to apready be applied?

      img

Going to download 15 now and try that then.

I think the biggest problem here is what version of Exchange is this thing really running?

The powershell cmdlet clearly states unpatched Exchange 2007 SP3. But Windows update history says it is up to Rollup Update 14..

That version the Powershell is spitting out is a really weird version number (in OP).

                http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/240.exchange-server-and-update-rollup-build-numbers.aspx
^ that link says that Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SP3 (no RU) is version 8.3.083.6
Which your log file dump also says that it is
