IT Themed Cocktail #1: Aptly named "The network is down"

      3 OZ Bacardi 151
      1 Can Redbull
      1.5 OZ Fireball Cinnamon Whisky

You are missing the can of monster 🙂

Yes... Scott Alan Miller's energy drink of choice recipe:

      • Take Extra Large can of Monster
      • Empty Can
      • Fill with whiskey

      Fill what? you? 😛

I think that's the end goal anyway heheh

@MattSpeller possible but drinking whiskey from a can? How undignified. 😛
You might as well be drinking Vodka Cruisers (sugar, food colouring, flavouring and spit from a drunk Russian).

Had a fun evening of Bookworm Adventures with @dominica. Played easily three or more hours together on it! We completed the first "book" in the game.

Just got in...finally got my wish of snow! And it's made me realise 2 things:

            1. I REALLY miss my Toyota surf
            2. The UK population needs to learn how to drive in the snow...at one point stuck behind a BMW X5 going 10mph in a 30 zone, no traffic in front, flat ground, no incline...and crawling along...

                    ick..

To keep from having to 'extract' or burn a Office DVD,.. i just mount the ISO and share it yea,. it drops the share,.. but I only need it every so often. so no real need to keep it a live drive.

I'm testing out using Duplicity to backup my Linux VMs to an NFS server. It's not a bare metal recovery, but what's so hard about installing Linux and copying a few files back into place? 😄
(plus it's easier than some of the other ones to set up!)

Waiting around to get on a WebEx with a customer - they are having trouble transferring thousands of files via FTP using IE.... imagine that. I have to wait around and hold their hand through an install of filezilla (which I have been recommending for months, to solve these customer FTP issues). Then it's weekend time!

Right? But at least management has allowed me to put filezilla on the customer end. They were thinking that would cause us more issues to support instead of less. I've been able to demonstrate that IE was the issue every time....

I've been with my girlfriend for almost 9 years, and we have Pho regularly.

@DustinB3403 I've been missing it the past few months. Buying a house kept me super busy, but now I live in little Asian town, where all the signs are in Korean or Mandarin 1st, then English. So much awesome food out here.
