@wirestyle22 What is the use for the device, I mean there is even an option for $9.99!

@NattNatt Well of course, but you completely skipped the important part of that question.

What are you going to be using the PoE switch for?

I'd probably go with a Netgear or TrendNet.

NetGear seems more business class, but all you really need is a simple way to provide power.

How much total power do you need?

Make sure the PoE switch that you get supports the UAPs. I think some of the UAPs use a different PoE standard.

24V Passive PoE. I was looking at that when I read your post actually :X

                      Looking at this

I'm sure it's on the unit somewhere, but I don't see a LAN connection to actually connect to the network.

                        Just the PoE ports.

                        It must be hiding.

nope, it's just a multi-poe injector...we had one at the last place I worked.

Just pass through PoE. I've used those before.

Do the UAP's have a Passive PoE port for nothing but power?

No but the linked item does. Basically you put a data cable into the LAN side. PoE+Data come out the other side.

So as I said, the item you were looking at @wirestyle22 has to have a throughput cable for data to transfer along to the endpoint devices.

And both of you said it doesn't.
