I wonder how many websites are running a "how embarrassing is it for the people on SW" thread showing these kinds of things. They have to be out there. It's seriously bad. THIS is why companies don't trust their IT staff.
There are good things over at SW, can't say all is bad. And there are quite a bunch of knowledgeable ppl over there. But it's basically always "do my work, get a lollipop", "which AP/firewall/switch/storage to buy" and so on.
Seems to be a trend for years now that ppl post first and think later, if at all. What happens in case they are offline and every minute costs $£€¥?

23K, quite a milestone!

I just looked... the biggest thread on SW has 37K posts. The second biggest that I know of has less than 4K. That's way ahead of us (it's the same thread there as here) however... we hit 23K in just over two years. and they are at only 37K in seven years!

Half hour to go. then 30-60 minutes getting through customs.

12.25 hours, you get pretty soar and restless after a flight like that.

Yeah i'm salary based pay so only get "paid" to travel if in my own car. took the pool car today a Skoda Automatic (1st time driving an automatic car, was fun)

Had a very strong interview yesterday. I'd be surprised if I didn't get the job. Double the pay half the work essentially.
