have to renew our passports. Mine is already past the point that I can't enter many countries (under six months to expiration.) Plus we always come to the US to visit family in NY in late June.

I interviewed at a place that used VirtualBox for all of their virtualization. I didn't take that job.

How could it be?
I don't see how it could even be 20% higher than minimal wage. A setup like that should've burned down a long time ago.

He responded by saying he installed the RAID drivers during Windows setup... that doesn't make any sense. If this were hardware RAID they wouldn't have to install drivers. Sounds like they are using fake RAID or not understanding how the system works.

uh, what? I've definitely had to install drivers during Windows install on a RAID controller before on bare metal.

Drivers are often necessary. You just don't realize this as the virtual and Linux worlds have all major drivers built in. Most Windows systems when faced with Hardware RAID show nothing at all because they don't have the drivers for it. Same as with any SAS card.

That must be it... I rarely/never install Windows Server to the bare metal... if I do install an OS bare metal it is Linux.
