      60%, yay...

Yet another sad day. Must, train, more, Linux/UNIX sysadmins!

This is insanely basic, standard network knowledge, too. SFTP uses this too. How do people not know the most basic of networking!?!?

I know it's the small 1x1 (does one say so in English? Common saying here), but I still struggle with bringing together "IT Pro" and questions like this one...

BTW, really like the picture upload feature of NodeBB. Just figured out you can just paste a picture in your clipboard and it gets uploaded. So the process was like screenshot -> mspaint.exe -> clip image -> paste into ML new post dialog. Awesome.

Nice, I had no idea that that worked.

Yeah, was more by accident. Thought I had something different in the clipboard and just hit CTRL+V and noticed the upload % display that gets injected by some JS. Would like to know how that works, because a simple textbox wouldn't accept binary data AFAIK and I'm curious how JS can access your clipboards data. Would be a great addon for some of my SharePoint webparts 😉

I think they actually get placed somewhere else for actually storing the pictures and just linked to. Almost all my pictures are just links that NodeBB displays inline. Just add and exclamation point in front of the link like this

        ![link text](link url)

        link text

I've talked about it before (long time ago) in a thread in the platform section. It goes great with Greenshot and is how I post almost 100% of the images I post from my desktop.

                        D&D night getting going.

Best game night in a while. Decided to throw a young blue dragon at the party as they were guarding a caravan.

The dragon flew in for a strafing lighting breath and the barbarian jumped onto a wagon and then onto the dragon and then successfully grappled it, causing it to fall the rest of the way to the ground (it was only 15' up). The mage then dropped Evard's Black Tentacles on it and the dragon failed its save for that. The party then quickly slaughtered it.

Completely unexpected turn of events. It was awesome.

When I set it up, I expected the combat to have turned into an aerial event with the dragon strafing while the player characters flew (after the mage cast fly spells) around attempting to kill it.

Seems like I'm kind of oldschool here... ALT+PrintScreen works out of the box in most operating systems.

                            Well, flagged another question:

ISA was superseded by ForeFront TMG and UAG years ago which both are EOL with no replacement at all. IMHO, having a proxying frontend (Postfix, Exim, Courier or even sendmail) somewhere "outside" (cloud / off-site / DMZ) is way better than letting someone connect directly to your Exchange. Got roughly 10% bad answers overall at SW - and in 90% of these cases it's about bad questions.

And look, it's not a community question but one that SW commission from their internal staff.

Yeah, having non-IT people asking "IT questions" based off of random Google searches and unable to identify obviously wrong or outdated questions is a problem. At least when the community does it you have the community to blame.

Well, I guess that answers all my questions regarding quality control.
Just a matter of time before people will be asked about upside down ducks.

Yeah, having non-IT people asking "IT questions" based off of random Google searches and unable to identify obviously wrong or outdated questions is a problem. At least when the community does it you have the community to blame.

                                      That's the point.
