She's been living an academic lifestyle for the past 10 years. Got her masters with a research fellowship and then started teaching at Penn State York as a FT professor. She had never heard of breaking bad, game of thrones, etc. We are just getting through some of the content she's missed over that time span. When we met she had just gotten texting.
You're telling me that someone so out of touch with any tech is teaching people?
Sorry, but, it does sort of prove what me and @scottalanmiller have been saying about our education system.

Dude her state job uses Wordperfect. You read that correctly. She's insanely brilliant when it comes to statistics though. Her entire family is brilliant in their fields but none of them know anything about technology. I'm trying to change that though. Fighting the good fight.
Statisticians use tons of technology, though. It's all math, programming and big data. What statistic work is done without the latest technology?
She did her research fellowship but has her masters in human development. She's odd. I like that though

There are places all over the country that actually ship in water from Western NY to make bread, and pizza dough etc. Something about the minerals here.

Got the NVidia Shield TV set up and working. First games are downloading to it now. Some big titles are on big time sale right now which is pretty cool.
