It's only ~3PM over there, so suck it up.

Plus we're more fun then everywhere else. 😉

@brianlittlejohn Thanks, almost forgot to take it (again):

90%, not bad, but the other answers are just a joke. But, as we see, even in this case 10% manage to choose the wrong answer. BTW: User contributed, not by OGs.

                Shiny example of BYOD: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1657850-uh-oh-an-infected-home-laptop-took-down-our-network

That's why it's stricly forbidden for colleagues and students to attach anything foreign to my network. IEEE802.1x is one of the few dozen PRIO-1 projects on my to-do list... Just need some time(TM).

Is it me, or are we beating a dead horse with these questions and how many people get it wrong?

Sure, but a dead horse won't bite back. No, seriously, I'm afraid about the low level of knowledge some people are having. The quiz is just a little representation of that.

It's been beaten to the point where we aren't hitting the horse any more, now we're just pounding stone.

I'm really not afraid of this - on one hand I admire the fact that people are out looking information up, at least trying to fix their own problems - are they often in way over their heads, sure, but at least they are trying. Of course then we have to ask, is the trying by the ignorant versus the advice given by the wrong have a balance toward positive movement in knowledge or negative movement?

so on top of my Windstream H-E Double Hockey Sticks, we lost 1 phase of our building power at 1:30 AM. UPS kicked in but that gave us ony 1/2 hour uptime and of course we don't have a standby generator. Been here all night re-routing power on extension cables to get the office back up and running on the remaining phases. Power company has no idea how we blew the phase out. On the plus side, the move to a colocation facility just got accelerated!

Sending this picture I took to my local spicy pickle producer of a heart shaped pepper I found in my jar last night.

Yes, I live an exciting life.

Looks more like a heart shaped pepper to me... or maybe a carrot. But that is quite exciting.

Next batch he is making with the Carolina Reaper. I think I'll steer clear of that one.

You have to lacto-ferment them (instead of using a vinegar brine) to get that crisp texture, like a Kosher pickle.

^^^ Just an example of the technique, I haven't tried that recipe.
