      Two things:

      1. I'm buying my xbyte server today ^_^ (Poweredge R510)
      2. Turns out I have no blood pressure issue at all. The doctor completely misdiagnosed me and put me on blood pressure meds when I didn't need them. Turns out all I have is a sinus infection. I'm not even kidding.

WTF... How did he do that? ...and where did you get the second opinion from? lol.

I took allergy meds and ibuprofen (I wasn't thinking because of the pain) and that caused my blood pressure to skyrocket. Of course I told the doctor this. They even had BP taken through the years from me and it showed no sign of being genetic. The issue is I didn't know any of this and I gave her all of the information she needed and she still chose to put me on blood pressure meds. Told me it was for the rest of my life and I'd never eat a cheeseburger again, etc. I honestly thought I'd never have a good meal again.

It should be enough of a scare to encourage you to eat slightly healthier... Get a side salad or apple slices with that cheese burger instead of fries. 🙂

I definitely am. I realized there is no really good way to avoid sodium. Even wheat bread has like 120 mg of sodium per slice. It's insanity.

Oh, don't get me started. Sodium is only behind sugar/sweeteners as the most over-used single ingredient in ~80% of the supermarkets (at least in the US.) I've always wondered how much eating it actually influences sodium in the bloodstream, and have seen no studies on it. One of those, gotta really, really dig for the study things at best.

        Misdiagnosis happens all the time.

because many are pushed a 4 or 5 patients per hour.... which is lame

Only in the US. The abundance of NaCl is just a prepared American foodism. I've not seen that in the rest of the world. They use NaCl, of course, but not at all in the quantities that the US does to cover up the taste of prepared food.

Really.... need insane performance from storage for a database, needs RAID 10 SSDs.... but is building their database server on a cheap gaming whitebox desktop with a 1.GHz processor!

                      https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1722048-raid-10-on-a-budget-diy-server

These requirements do not go together!

On and Windows bare metal install.

Yep. SSD is not spinning platters of rust, different types of failure and rebuild times on the two types of drives.

Only 1 more VM to "reinstall" onto XenServer 😄 then hopefully set-up some backups too.

There should be no issue, but you may not get VT-x inside the guest because VirtualBox can't do V-in-V AFAIK (aka nested virtualization, haven't checked that in a while). The guest OS running the inner VirtualBox basically is not aware of the fact it is running virtual.

Edit-1: Hyper-V can do nested virtualization after a little hack. Can do a quick search for the link if you need that.

                                          Edit-2:
                                          https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/4032
                                          https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=63313

At least 32-bit OS'ses should do as guests.
