My wife and I binged Stranger Things over the weekend, in between diaper changes and feedings, excellent show. Some very cliche moments but overall the acting, action, and story were pretty much perfect.
I think that I saw @AVI-NetworkGuy recommending that show on Facebook last night. I've never heard of it before.
It was released on Friday. It's a homage to the 80's horror and small town movies. Lots of King, Carpenter, and Spielberg influences can be seen throughout. It was really good. I highly recommend it.
Basically a bunch of kids, a bit Goonies-styled, a bit of X-Files and a cop who hates his job

All the 80's cliches rolled into one delightful 8 hour movie. The only one missing was the guy 2 days away from retirement.... holding out for Season two for that.

She asked me two days ago for some glue to fix her smartphone case. Not produced anymore and she wants to stick with her HTC One S.

Just back from filing for our passport renewals. Only $500 for the family. Would have been $750 to expedite!

$500 for a few passports? Probably HR costs (NSA|FBI|CIA|Homeland Security|.*) is causing this.
And I thought EUR 80 is expensive for our new passports.

I know, seems pretty expensive to me, too. And these are just renewals.

Sure does to me. What does it cost in other countries? It was only $90 for a new one last time that I got one. Renewal should be less, they are just re-issuing the same thing again.

Sure does to me. What does it cost in other countries? It was only $90 for a new one last time that I got one. Renewal should be less, they are just re-issuing the same thing again.
The sticker shock stems from the fact that you have too many kids. Less kids = better, cheaper, international travel.
