As long as you don't add external monitors or expect to really do much with it,.. Surface is a decent product. But they have a number of issues when you add the dock and external monitors.....

A frustrating amount of issues. The official Surface dock works much better but still has some problems.

Loving it in terms of portability and power, going to test the extra monitors when I am back in the office.

Yup it was! I have been trying to meet with Vendors to see what we could do better around here for them.

Linux doesn't play well with the Surface line. I've tried it in the past. The touch screen loses all accuracy and there are issues with multi-touch. Very annoying as it would be a great Mint tablet.

Over all I am not impressed with the Surface line at all. It's not a great tablet or laptop....
I have an IPad Pro however and LOVE IT. So easy to use. The Apple Pencil is pretty awesome too.

I was considering getting a Microsoft Book or Surface, I'm glad I changed my mind and held off for a bit. The hinge issues the Book had, ad the issues the surface has would just tick me off.

It's really sad because it had the potential for being really cool. We use it as a test machine for one of our clients. I don't use it for anything else as it is just annoying.

LOL yeah with these kinds of honest reviews I wll wait to get one. Question, was this the Surface 4 you used? or another iteration?
