I need coffee. But I'm on a call
Coffee machine is too far away. -
The whole home lab thread got me itching, so I set up my raspberry Pi last night that I got for Christmas. Good! SSH from work into this morning, rebooted it:
shutdown -h now
OOPS
so now I guess I have to work rest of today -

so now I guess I have to work rest of todayI stayed with a friend once and I ran so much traffic through the network, the shitty Verizon FiOS router would have it's WiFi crap out pretty much every day...because that's what they do...
My friend didn't want me to have access to the router, but eventually I just got the info of the router's label, logged in, enabled telnet, and setup a cron job to reboot the router every morning at 4am. Fixed all the WiFi issues. My friend said after a couple days of that running "see, it's working fine now" and was all proud of himself. To this day, he still has no idea that it was me rebooting the router every morning at 4am that fixed the issue. Lol

Hop on the NodeBB community and ask them if there is a known means of doing that. They might have a script that does it already.

Bluetooth, coffee machine... I know how you mean it, but I was just thinking about something else:

So now I'm really missing having a lab and playing with Linux, CLI, setting up cron jobs, using VI to play with config files, etc... I need to get back into that. I'd pick it right back up but I'm feeling rusty...
@scottalanmiller any chance you got a Linux VM I could just tinker with and play with that if it breaks, we can scrap and just start over?

Umm this is not a game and you took MONTHS off.
I know it's not a game, and I know. Still, I know I won't catch up to Scott, but I'd like to get back to where I was...just need to get back into the routine...
