@JaredBusch that is freaky weird.
- It's weird to have someone deliver milk to your house
- It's weird because who knows who they are hiring
- It's weird because you are paying for a service (when presumably you go out grocery shopping)
- It's weird because the delivery guy might just try to make a move on you / your wife.

And it's a bad idea because 8 or 9 months out of the year, all that milk will be rancid when I get home.

And it's a bad idea because 8 or 9 months out of the year, all that milk will be rancid when I get home.
And the remainder it will be frozen!

So you are looking for books for her to read to know how to parent you?
Not I just want to feel like I've done my due diligence knowing full well that I'm going to screw everything up. You know, typical parent stuff.
- Value your Mrs. and your relationship.
- Treat her with respect (make sure your kids see it!!!!!)
- You can do it
- Your kids are tiny versions of you. How did you feel when your parents rained justice upon you? Your kids will probably see things in a similar way. Can you see any value in how you and your Mrs were raised?
- Parenting is a joint thing. Work together.
5b. This also helps when kids try to play the parents off against each other (Mini-you doesn't like Dad's answer --> goes and asks Mum) - Stick to your guns. No means no
- You may see behaviour/personality traits of other family members in your kids. Can be a good thing.
- You are Dad. You do not babysit, you parent. See point 5. Pull your weight. This means you have to deal with Code Brown and not palm it off to your Mrs (also, you're a man not a wimp, lose the HAZMAT suit).
- Love > fury. While your kids may push your buttons at times, take a step back from the situation (I find this one hard). Even if it means leaving the room for a minute or two to chill.
- The instant you see Mini-You v1 (after they pop-the-hatch, enter the world, etc) something will change in you. To me it felt like a switch was flicked the instant I laid eyes on Mini-nadnerB (0.5 seconds after he was born).
