First day with the new phone system was successful. Aside from accidentally/on purpose updating the servers time and dropping 90% of the phones for 5 minutes. I'm amazed at how powerful this Asterisk based system is compared to our old digital system.

Did you go with Asterisk or one of the forks?

They are distros, not forks. Elastix and FreePBX, for example, are still vanilla Asterisk. Asterisk is like Linux, it is basically a kernel. Everyone who uses it keeps it as it is. But then they add extra packages around it making a full PBX out of it.

                    We used the Freepbx distro.

                              Installing ownCloud, but having problems.

The installation wizard does not load after installing from the provided CentOS repo.

Getting highly annoyed with the lack of documentation from ownCoud on this..

                                  Installed clean CentOS 7

                                  yum -y install nano wget
                                  yum -y update
                                  cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
                                  wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:community/CentOS_CentOS-7/isv:ownCloud:community.repo
                                  yum -y install owncloud
                                  systemctl start httdp
                                  systemctl stop firewalld

Browse to the URL and white page...

It's an unfriendly 42C (108F) here at the moment. I might take the family to the local pool after everyone has had a nap.

Just watched most of the first Hobbit movie again. My BIL has a huge home theatre, so large it is a separate building from the house.

What a pain in the ass, but ownCloud is installed.

                                            Here was the problem:

                                            ## Install the pre-reqs that owncloud misses.
                                            yum -y install php-pdo php-gd php-mysql;

I documented the process locally. will post in the morning. I'm tired..
