Heading to Wisconsin Dells for an overnight trip. Taking the kids to Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park. They have some Halloween events all month.

Cool! We did that when I was a kid. The Dells were one of my favorite places that we lived.

Bake until just barely done, then let rest. Just like an enormous juicy baked chicken.
I put a bacon weave over mine. Delicious. Bacon fat drips over it and keeps it very moist and flavours the gravy.

Deep fried turkey is the way to go. We used to do several every US thanksgiving, much cooler then our northern neighbors. They have an excellent crispy skin while still being incredibly moist on the inside.

Cool! We did that when I was a kid. The Dells were one of my favorite places that we lived.
Did it 3 years ago for a summer trip when we did not live up here.
Now, it is just a quick 2 hour drive.

^ the ultimate way to go but is a huge pain in the ass to clean up
unless you have a diesel vehicle you waste a ton of oil.

I have a nice electric smoker - I need to do some modifications to it, but more importantly, I need to get it smoking again. I'm out of Canadian Bacon and smoked Cheese.

Try smoked blue cheese, omfg. Keep temps low as you can and just let it sit.
