Depends on your goals.
Well, just want to manage my machines at home (central auth and a few GPOs/GPPs). Going Samba could come with another benefit: I would be able to evaluate whether Samba is a viable replacement for a Windows DC.
DCs would run as virtual machines on Hyper-V.

Don't know why but Wheezy was taking ages to install so went for Ubuntu for Xen-Orchestra. All up and running just playing with getting reporting to work now.
