I almost always prefer books. Structured learning.

Comcast dealt with. Firewall rules cleaned and updated (used the ASDM. . . meh). Back to estimating costs (and savings) for moving to not-Windstream.

@scottalanmiller However, there is a silver lining. Through yesterday's work, I've realized a much quicker way to do what I needed to do. So recreating what I have will take less than 1/2 the original time

@NerdyDad Ha! I used to record a podcast when I was still a teacher, and wrote a little blog when I was in college. I'd like to get back to some of those hobbies, so I figure I might write about some my little learning-IT projects.

Helps you to document as to what you are learning and how you learned it. It could then be used as a resource to show other prospective employers what you are pursuing.
